This Privacy Policy explains how we process personal data when you visit the Helenium Quantum website or contact us.

- Helenium Ventures GmbH, Aegeristrasse 27, 6300 Zug, Switzerland, is responsible for this website (“we”, “us”).
- Group companies
- Helenium Services Ltd (United Kingdom) and Helenium Services Desenvolvimento de Projetos Ltda (Brazil) may also receive your enquiry to respond to it. They then process your data under this Privacy Policy.

This policy is intended to comply with the following laws:
- the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP);
- the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR);
- the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018;
- the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (LGPD, Law No. 13.709/2018).
2. What data we collect and why
a) Visiting our website
- What our hosting provider records: your IP address, the date and time of your visit, the pages viewed, and your browser and device type (server log files).
- Why: to deliver the website, keep it secure and fix errors.
- Legal basis:
- GDPR/UK GDPR: legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f);
- LGPD: legitimate interest, Art. 7 IX.
- Retention: log files are deleted after 30 days, unless we need them to investigate a security incident.
b) Contact form and email enquiries
- What we collect: the enquiry type, your name, work email, organisation, role, sector, and the content of your message.
- Why:
- to answer your enquiry;
- to assess a possible feasibility assessment, collaboration or project;
- to take steps at your request before entering into a contract.
- Legal basis:
- GDPR/UK GDPR: pre-contractual steps (Art. 6(1)(b)) and our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f));
- LGPD: Art. 7 V and IX.
- Retention: we keep enquiries for up to 24 months after our last contact. If a contract follows, we keep the data for as long as the contract lasts and afterwards as required by statutory retention periods (for example, up to 10 years for business records under Swiss law).
c) Business relationships
- What we collect: if we work together, we process the contact details of your staff and information exchanged during the project.
- Confidentiality: we treat all client information as confidential and sign a non-disclosure agreement with every client.
We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling. We do not sell personal data.
3. Who receives your data
We share personal data only where necessary, with:
- Helenium group companies in Switzerland, the United Kingdom and Brazil, to handle your enquiry;
- service providers who process data on our behalf:

- Brazil.
Where data is transferred to a country without an adequate level of data protection, we use appropriate safeguards. These include the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses (with the Swiss and UK addenda) or, where applicable, recognised certification frameworks.

We protect personal data with appropriate technical and organisational measures:
- state-of-the-art encryption of data in transit (TLS) and at rest;
- access restricted to people who need it;
- regular security reviews.
6. Your rights
Depending on the law that applies to you, you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have your data deleted;
- restrict or object to processing, including processing based on legitimate interest;
- data portability;
- withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent, without affecting processing already carried out;
- under the LGPD: confirm that processing exists, have data anonymised or blocked, and obtain information about the entities your data is shared with.
